  I just called the TCF corporate phone, asked for the phone number for the local branch. Apparently they don't have a phone number. I will need to go into the branch, the woman on the phone said, and ask questions there. Keep in mind, I was asking a very generic question. Talk about all the convenience TCF is claiming to provide. In this day and age, I can't believe they are not available on phone. Really, do they care about the customer convenience at all??

  I will never do business with this bank. My client was approved for $147,000.00 mortgage , we went through two months of signed and agreed up sales contracts, inspections and addendums. The appraisal came in at $124,000 dollars and the seller agreed to reduce the price to appraised value with no problem. My client was then asked to extend the closing date by 21 days on the day of closing. We were then told 5 days later that my client only approved for $30,000 dollars. The seller is going to fight to keep his Earnest Money Deposit for taking her home off of the market for two months. Unreal!

  It was Horrible experience; This bank does't declare to you that they changes the overdraft option to my account .When I opened my account no body asked me if I want to have overdraft option or not and then they changed the overdraft policy without notifying me. I went to the bank and I complaint for what happened and the customer service wasn't cooperative.After that I was able to meet the branch manager and he told that I should have read the agreement carefully if they didnt declare it but he never admitted that they changed the policy. I have checked with some other clients and they have the same issue exactly!!!!! I would never bank again with this bank!
